Dallas Irrigation Association

The Dallas Irrigation Association serves irrigation professionals across the DFW metroplex, providing education and networking and promoting the use of licensed irrigators. Irrigation is a licensed trade in Texas: the TCEQ requires a licence to sell, design, install, maintain, repair or inspect an irrigation system. To be listed as a contractor through the association, a member must hold a valid irrigator, irrigation technician, irrigation inspector, backflow or landscape architect licence, and full membership renews on attendance at the association's annual expo, which carries eight TCEQ-approved continuing-education hours.
